DaimlerChrysler will debut a revised Viper at the DetroitAuto Show, and the snake will get even more horsepower.

The V10 engine will be slightly enlarged, from 8.3 to 8.4liters, and will pack 600 horses and 560 pound-feet of torque. Among otherchanges, the Viper will sport a new clutch and a hood with more air intakes.

The new Viper should turn up in showrooms next summer.
