Again this year, the Mécaglisse complex in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, Quebec, is offering winter driving courses tailored to Quebec’s weather conditions.

Dispensed by a professional team headed by Franck Kirchhoff and held in a very safe environment, the courses are designed to prepare participants for slippery road conditions, and ensure better vehicle control in all situations.

The courses are aimed at drivers of all ages and all experience levels. Particular care is also given to younger, less experienced drivers.

Participants drive their own car and learn how to control braking and how to react when the car starts skidding or when they lose control of the vehicle. With a very secure training environment, there is no risk of damaging the vehicles – although some egos may be come away a tad bruised.
This is not performance training, but rather a skill development course.

The one-day course includes a theory session and five hours of practice time with experienced instructors.
