IRL: Scott Dixon and Helio Castroneves last stand

Coming into the season finale, IndyCar series leader Scott Dixon has a 30-points cushion over Helio Castroneves. This Sunday's PEAK Antifreeze & Motor Oil Indy 300 will then decide who will be the next IndyCar champion. Both drivers have never won at Chicagoland.

The McLaren Group is expanding into the United States. McLaren Electronic Systems, the specialist electronics arm of British Formula 1 racing and automotive company McLaren, has launched McLaren Electronics Inc, a North American subsidiary.

The Subaru of Indiana Automotive (SIA) plant resembles many other modern, American assembly plants. With an annual production of 147,148 units in 2007, it's not the largest one, but it does stand out in a very special way: it's one of the cleanest, if not THE cleanest. The plant, which assembles Subaru Legacy and Outback sedans and station wagons (including the new PZEVs), Subaru Tribeca SUVs and Camry sedans, for its Japanese partner, Toyota, achieved zero-landfill status in 2004.
