Earlier this week, Chevrolet began shipping the all-new 2014 Corvette Stingray to Canadian dealers from the same Bowling Green, Kentucky plant where the iconic sports car has been built since 1981.
So far, approximately 1,000 new Corvettes have rolled off the assembly line, and most of them are expected to be delivered within the next few weeks.
The automaker has invested $131 million to upgrade the production facility for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. This includes about $52 million for a new body shop to manufacture the car’s all-new aluminum frame in-house for the first time.
