Chevrolet is celebrating its 100th anniversary by launching the 2012 Centennial Edition package for all Corvette models – including Grand Sport, Z06 and ZR1. The iconic sports car promises sinister looks and unique design elements.

The Centennial Edition package comes exclusively in Carbon Flash Metallic, with satin-black graphics, unique Centennial Satin Black wheels (ranging from 18 to 20 inches in size) and red brake callipers. Magnetic Selective Ride Control, the world’s fastest-reacting suspension technology, is also included.

A number of special badges on the car highlight the brand's racing history. A graphic logo featuring an image of Louis Chevrolet appears on the B-pillars, wheel hub caps and centre of the steering wheel. The seat headrests also carry an embossed centennial logo. Meanwhile, the crossed flags badge contains a small adaptation, with “100” in place of the traditional fleur-de-lis symbol.

The exterior colour scheme is reinforced inside, with the Ebony leather-wrapped instrument panel and doors complimented by red stitching on the steering wheel, seats, console and shifter.

Chevrolet will auction a Centennial Edition Corvette Z06 at the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction in West Palm Beach, FL on April 9, with the proceeds to benefit the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer.

Pricing will be announced this summer prior to the start of availability.
