Chrysler Canada announced a recall on 1,393 Fiat 500L models from 2014 because of a potential loss of communication between the gearshift module and the transmission.
This problem may delay or eliminate the driver's ability to shift the transmission, causing unintended vehicle movement and increasing the risk of injury and/or damage.
Consequently, dealers will replace affected gear shift modules or reprogram the gear shift module software, as necessary
