After teasing us with a series of images, Mercedes-Benz has finally deigned to reveal the C-Class Coupe once and for all, before its first public appearance at the Geneva Auto Show running from March 3 to 13, 2011.

Two direct injection engines mated to a seven-speed autobox will be available. The C250 will be motivated by a turbocharged inline-4 generating 201 hp and 229 ft-lb of torque, enabling top speeds of 209 km/h and the 0-100 km/h dash in 7.1 seconds. According to the manufacturer, its combined fuel efficiency rating is 9.8 L / 100 km.

As for the C350, it will be running a V6 mill pumping out 302 hp and 273 ft-lb of torque propelling the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds while sipping an average of 10.69 litres per 100 km. Like the C250, the C350 will top out at 209 km/h.

The model rests on a front and rear multilink suspension with AGILITY CONTROL. Mercedes says occupants enjoy an extremely comfortable and quiet ride in normal driving conditions and solid handling when sportier manoeuvres are called for.

Both coupe variants of the C-Class feature several standard safety systems, including ABS brakes, adaptive headlamps, nine air bags, electronic stability control and a drowsiness detector.

The cabin can accommodate four people and includes built-in headrests, an instrument cluster defined by three tube rings with a metallic finish and a 5.8-inch central display. The C250 is decked out in aluminum trim while the C350 benefits from walnut appliqués.

On the technology front, the car will transfer you address book from a cell phone, play songs via Bluetooth and a USB port now built into the centre armrest.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupes will hit dealerships in September. Performance and fuel efficiency numbers are still estimations and could vary slightly until then.
