Conor Daly, son of former Formula 1 driver Derek Daly, has been penalised for sharing a part of responsability in the crash that hapenned in Race 2 of the GP3 series at Monaco.
Following an incident with Dmitry Suranovich (Marussia Manor Racing), Daly, driving for Lotus GP has been handed a grid penalty which will be served in Race 1 of this weekend's race event in Valencia.
Stewards penalised the American after he "collided with the rear of another competitor and removed the rear wing. After colliding again with the rear of the same competitor, the race was red flagged."
Therefore, Daly will drop ten places from his qualifying position for Race 1 in Valencia.
