Some enthusiasts have caught a glimpse of what might just be the new Ferrari 458 Challenge inside a garage in Vallelunga, Italy.
Little is known about the Challenge variant of the F430’s successor. As you can see, the car is lower, the body has been totally revamped (to include a wider stance, among other things) and the slick tires suggest that this new Ferrari is ready to hit the track.
A closer inspection reveals that a number of components and accessories have been added to the initial layout, including a pair of racing seats.
Ferrari provided no information about the powertrain. However, we do see a dual exhaust for what will likely be a mid-mounted V8 engine.
We’ll have to wait a couple more months before this picture becomes a reality.
