Australia's Motoring.au reports that the next Porsche model to receive the plug-in hybrid treatment could be the Macan compact crossover, following in the footsteps of the Panamera S E-Hybrid and Cayenne S E-Hybrid with a supercharged V6 mated to an electric motor.
"Nothing has been decided for Macan. [But] If there is market demand or legal [emissions] requirements we are ready to react. We are starting with a top-down approach," Porsche spokesman Paul Ellis told Motoring. The aforementioned Cayenne S E-Hybrid will be unveiled at the Paris Auto Show on October 2nd, a few weeks before its global media launch. Source : motoring.com Recent Articles
