Dealers perpare for up to 30 new or refreshed products

Fiat Chrysler’s dealer meeting in Las Vegas was full of surprises and new-car announcements this past week. Closed to the media, the dealer meeting included FCA’s multiple brand heads, as well as an address by CEO, Sergio Marchionne.

Of course, the interesting tidbits of information are that FCA hopes to introduce up to 30 new or refreshed products over the coming 2 years. Of those products is a Dodge Barracuda convertible, and a next-gen Dodge Charger that’s said to resemble a ’99 concept designed by Tom Gale, as well as a Jeep Grand Wagoneer with seating for eight. Dealers were also shown upcoming Alfa Romeo and Maserati models, as well as the Fiat 124 Spider (regular and Abarth versions).

In all, it was a positive dealer meeting with Marchionne reassuring everyone that even a potential merger of FCA with another manufacturer would not be “a slash-and-burn strategy” and would instead serve to strengthen all companies involved.
