2012 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Review
Sunday, May 06, 2012
The Porsche 911 Carrera 4 is the Porsche for Canada. Why? Traction at all four compass points - that's why. Before exploring this week's tester, I want to emphasize the "grip and rip" benefit derived from the distribution of power to all four wheels.

Gutter to Glory - Pygmalion at the Track
Monday, April 16, 2012
It's 2,000 metres of concrete that twists and turns like a boa constrictor suffocating its prey. The road course at Mission International Raceway is known as an intensive, challenging track that doesn't suffer fools or their machines. Feathering a hair trigger, the utmost in concentration is needed to prevent an accidental shot with calamitous results.

2012 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Review
Sunday, December 04, 2011
A gentleman stopped and asked me about
the 911 Carrera 4 I was driving. He
enquired how long I'd been driving it,
what it cost, and what my
husband/boyfriend did for work to afford
a car like that. I was a bit turned off
by this question. However, after some
discussion, he explained that this was a
car that a female just wouldn't buy.

Sunday, October 30, 2011
Porsche has more 911 Carrera variants than one could shake a stick at, and their latest, the 911 Carrera GTS, intends to cap the range as the sportiest model yet. Without going into the Turbo series or the outrageous GT3 factory race car lineup, the 911 GTS is as athletic as the 911 Carrera gets.

2011 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet Review
Sunday, August 14, 2011
Perhaps it was the precision of the Porsche's steering or the immediacy of power underfoot, but the 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet was a sheer delight on the secondary highways of southwest BC. My 16-year old son and I embraced the opportunity to take this week's tester on an overnight road trip to Savona, B.C. from Vancouver, focusing on routes less traveled. The only criteria: they had to be paved.

2011 Porsche 911 Sport Classic Review (video)
Wednesday, July 06, 2011
"So Matt, how was driving the Sport Classic in Germany?", a friend asks as I painstakingly return to reality. My answer: "Germany's nice and all and the car, well it's just, just, simply put, you see, understand that, well, you know, it's...". The Sport Classic is to die for.

We must study them, emulate them and do like them. We all know that Europe is a millennium up on us but does that mean that we North Americans will always be a thousand years behind? "That's preposterous, Matt, stop talking trash!" I won't 'cause we just don't and won't get it. What we've got is everything back-asswards.

Miranda's No. 1 Road Trip Vehicle
Tuesday, June 07, 2011
Sometimes you just have to get out of Dodge. It's nothing personal to your friends, family, job (maybe your job) or even the neighbourhood you live in; you just have to get away for a bit. We've all felt this way at least once in our lives, and I can bet at the very moment you wanted to jump ship you didn't exactly have the cash to drop at the airport for a flight outta there. Well, rejoice: There's a cheaper (much more enjoyable) option. The road trip.

2010 Porsche 911 Turbo Review

With 2011 right around the corner, not to mention an even more spectacular S variant, the ''base'' 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo doesn't seem as attractive. Yet, the neglected one is full of merits. In fact, unless you intend to make a living on the track, the gap is so small and subtle that it's barely worth mentioning.

PCA sweepstakes: 1973 Porsche 911 T Update
Monday, November 01, 2010
The straightening bench doesn't lie. Its judgment carries a great deal of weight. The original Porsche bench, a massive steel framework that was developed in the 1960s for aligning the body of the 911 (F model), still reveals every millimetre of deviation from the vehicle's original form. And what the specialists suspected when they initially inspected the vehicle was confirmed: The 1973 911 T had suffered accident damage to the front left side - probably a souvenir from its long gone motor sport days.

2010 Porsche 911 Targa 4 Review
