2013 Infiniti JX First Impressions
Tuesday, April 03, 2012

2012 Infiniti QX56 Review
Sunday, January 15, 2012
Feeling good is never overrated. Safe, warm, cozy, relaxed -- we are hard-wired to seek out those things that make up our version of Heaven. Comfort always finds its way onto lists of criteria when people shop for new cars. Be it in the first or fifth position, no one weeds through cars looking for the one that will break their back, blow out their eardrums or want them to amputate a leg. That is, unless they're in the market for a race car. Good for you if you are!

2012 Infiniti M35h Review (video)
Thursday, January 05, 2012
To sell a luxury hybrid, it's preferable to offer one that doesn't force the customer to make sacrifices. After all, that's why people buy luxury cars, right? It's safe to say that very few people buy luxury hybrids for their sheer greenness; in my humble opinion, they'll buy them if there's added performance, added features and less stops at the dirty gas station.

Intended for shoppers more concerned more with fuel mileage than all-out firepower, the G25's smaller V6 develops 218 horsepower to the bigger unit's 330.

2011 Infiniti G25x Review (video)
Thursday, March 17, 2011
The nutshell explanation of the new Infiniti G25x's raison d'être goes like this: it's a G37x-- but with the big V6 yanked in favour of a smaller one. Specifically, Infiniti's 3.7 litre, 328-horsepower mill gets a pink slip, and a new 2.5 litre mill is dropped in its place. The 1.2 litre reduction in displacement results in a drop of 110 horsepower to 218.

2006-2010 Infiniti M Pre-Owned
Saturday, October 09, 2010
Doing used car overviews on a weekly basis for a number of years can sure be an eye opener. Your correspondent scours owner's forums, consumer complaint threads and reliability resources regularly to help ascertain what owners of a used model can expect-- and what key issues to check for on a test drive. As time passes, a few things have become apparent: Korean cars are built better than ever, you can't beat a well-maintained Honda, Toyota or Subaru as a used small-car buy, and when it comes to pricey premium machines, the Germans offer a tremendous driving experience but fall slightly short on reliability.

2011 Infiniti QX56 Review
Friday, September 03, 2010
I normally don't like huge vehicles like this QX56. They are challenging to park, costly to fuel up and when you're behind the wheel of one, people make you feel like you're a shameless polluter. But when it's time to go road tripping with the kids during vacation time, a big SUV like this Infiniti makes life a lot easier.

Sunday, October 17, 2010
The G37 is a premium rear-wheel-drive (RWD) performance coupe from Infiniti that's also available in an all-wheel-drive (AWD) format. Infiniti applied major changes to its G-Coupe in 2008. The alterations included a re-tooled body and cabin along with more power and performance. The extent of the makeover didn't leave much to do for 2010 other than to re-work the centre console and some switchgear located thereupon.

2011 Infiniti M37x AWD Review
Monday, July 12, 2010
Call me harsh, but I'm no fan of the new M. Think back to the real first generation of the M (2003-04). Do you remember it? If not, look through the gallery. This was a rare and exclusive car. Now, fast forward to the 2006 model year and the previous Infiniti M. This time, the car had gone a little more mainstream but it still maintained an aura of exclusivity. I have always been an admirer of the M, even the original unloved and unknown M30 from the early nineties. So I like the M. We're clear on this right?

Crossover Special!
Friday, June 25, 2010
Crossovers are the modern evolution of traditional sport utility vehicles -- kind of new-millennium four-wheel Swiss knives! Over the past few years, this type of vehicle has gotten more and more diversified technically as well as aesthetically. In some cases, they even copy certain parts of passenger cars. No wonder consumers often get confused!

Well, I'm here to report that version 2.0 brings extreme styling to the table... and then some.

2010 Infiniti G37x Sedan Review
Thursday, July 15, 2010
Strangely, some of the cars we test are quickly forgotten. Just think, every week we have to put a different car through its paces. And in some cases, it takes several hours - sometimes days - to get used to the new ride. But the Infiniti G37x is one of those that just seem to slip from your mind - instantly. Which is actually one of the nicest things you can say about a car.

2010 Infiniti EX35 Review
Wednesday, July 07, 2010
The proliferation of platforms has lead to all sorts of automotive cocktails. While classification was once an easy thing, it has become quite complicated today: the old SUVs are now crossovers and sedans come in all sizes and combinations. The Infiniti EX35 falls somewhere between these nebulous classes, an undeniably charming and capable vehicle.
