2012 Mercedes-Benz S 350 BlueTEC 4MATIC First Impressions
Friday, December 09, 2011
A $110k luxury sedan for those who want to save money at the gas pumps is utterly illogical. After all, if you're wealthy enough to buy a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, surely you can afford putting fuel in it, right?

2012 Mercedes-Benz S-Class gets turbodiesel engine with S350 BlueTEC model
Sunday, July 10, 2011
Turbodiesel engines are extremely popular in Europe, and even the high-end luxury cars are equipped with them. In the US and Canada, however, very manufacturers dare to offer diesel-powered cars; several reasons could be cited, and one of those is the public's perception of the diesel engine itself.

2010 Mercedes-Benz S400 Hybrid Review
Wednesday, September 08, 2010
Of all the recent Mercedes-Benz styling exercises in the sedan segment, I definitely like the S-Class the most. The current generation arrived in 2007, and for 2010 it's undergone some minor nose and tail revision that include the addition of LCD lighting and the integration of tail pipes into the rear fascia.

2010 Mercedes-Benz S400 HYBRID Review
Wednesday, March 24, 2010
The 2010 edition of the Geneva show wrapped up midway through this past March, and one message was clear when all was said and done: hybrids and any variation on the theme is the here and now. It's gotten to the point where if you don't got one, you'll either get the orca-eye or the frown. Hell! Even Ferrari is on the bandwagon! If that don't say something about the trend, then I don't know my arse from my elbow.

Bühl, Germany -- A Mercedes-Benz S-Class that burns as little fuel as a B200 may sound anachronistic. Yet, it's the new creed of the Stuttgart-based automaker. 2008 Mercedes-Benz S450 4MATIC Review
Saturday, May 03, 2008
Every day, humankind beams signals into space carrying the movies, television and music seen and heard the world over. Some say that one day they'll be intercepted by aliens who will use them to learn about us humans. For the most part, things won't look too flattering. Could we be redeemed for Survivor reruns, Emo bands and YouTube Blogs?

If you can afford it, there is nothing better than a Mercedes S-Class to relax with. If you have a ridiculously-busy lifestyle, and never have the time to lower your level of stress, here's a car that will probably help you settle down a bit.

Mercedes-Benz S600 Guard Pullman Limousine a rolling Fort-Knox
Friday, March 02, 2007
If you're marked for death and have a lot of money, we've got a car for you. It's called the S600 Guard Pullman Limousine- a Mercedes Benz model built off the same platform as the extended wheelbase S600, though substantially longer. It's so long, in fact, that the 4 rear-seat occupants can sit down facing one another.

2007 Mercedes S550 4MATIC First Impressions
Saturday, January 20, 2007
In the ultra-high stakes game of super premium cars, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is often regarded as the one to have. From a purely historical stand-point, the brand savours an incredible pedigree for performance, technological advances and the highest level of luxury. Last year's arrival of the new 2007 redesigned flagship brought a new V8 engine and just recently, a thoroughly revised 4MATIC AWD system.

2007 Mercedes-Benz S550 Road Test
Thursday, December 28, 2006
If I refer to the time when Cadillacs were cars reknown for their comfort and docility, there's nothing pejorative about calling this Mercedes-Benz a Caddy. The S550 deserves praise for its maneuverability and comfort. Certain of my colleagues don't appreciate a Mercedes as much because they're not as sporty as a BMW or an Audi. I won't start this debate, since each German brand targets a different clientele. We buy a Mercedes-Benz for its status, its classic lines and its comfort. Its power comes afterwards, as that's not Mercedes' premier objective with its sedans, with the exception of the AMG versions. And that suits me fine.

2004 Mercedes-Benz S-Class LWB 4MATIC Road Test
Saturday, July 24, 2004
What is it about a Mercedes-Benz that makes it feel as if it's worth much more than any of its peers? I'm sitting here inside an S500 and other than a few extremely nice design elements it isn't more elegant than a Lexus LS 430. From the outside it's not any prettier than an Audi A8, and when it comes to power and handling dynamics it doesn't measure up to BMW's 7.

Gone is the dash-mounted flower vase in the latest version of Volkswagen's Bug. Gone too is much of its cutesiness, replaced by a notable degree of sportiness intended to broaden the Beetle's target market by attracting male attention.
