On August 30th, Jaguar Land Rover will recall 46,515 Land Rover SUVs in the U.S. and Canada. Affected models include the 2010-2015 LR2 and 2012-2013 Range Rover Evoque.

Apparently, a component in the occupant classification system's electronic control unit may fail, disabling the passenger airbag partially or completely.

No accidents or injuries relating to this issue have been reported so far.
Land Rover dealers will update the restraint control module software at no cost.
