An incorrectly manufactured turn signal lever could cause the auto-cancel function to become inoperative. The vehicle operator will, however, continue to be able to manually cancel the turn signals. Dealers will inspect and, if necessary, replace the turn signal lever.
2012 Jaguar XF 38 units On certain vehicles, the compliance label does not contain the correct Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR). The label incorrectly indicates a GVWR of 5,225 instead of 2,370, and a GAWR of 2,612 (front) & 2,756 (rear) instead of 1,185 (front) & 1,250 (rear). As such, the vehicle could be unwittingly overloaded, which would result in poor vehicles handling characteristics, increasing the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Updated labels will be mailed to owners of affected vehicles, along with instructions for proper installation.
