"Small cars for a big future" will be Suzuki's theme at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show (December 2-11), where the company will display the REGINA and Q-concept, as well as two variants of the Swift.
Weighing only 1,609 lbs (730 kg), the ultra-aerodynamic REGINA achieves a low fuel consumption rating of 3.2L/100km. It foreshadows Suzuki's next-generation global compact car.
Meanwhile, the Q-concept is sort of a cross between an automobile and a motorcycle. At 2.5 metres long, it proves highly manoeuvrable and perfect for daily commutes shorter than 10 kilometres, Suzuki says.
The Q-concept features two seats in tandem configuration and the rear one can even be removed to maximize cargo capacity.
The range-extending Suzuki Swift EV Hybrid and the all-new Suzuki Swift Sport will also grace the Japanese automaker's stand at the Tokyo Motor Show.
