Gas prices often dictate consumer behaviour when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle. Europeans aren’t crazy about sub-compacts like the Ford Fiesta and Mazda2 for nothing, after all.
Today, North Americans looking to save a few bucks at the pump are turning more and more towards small vehicles. The Chevy Sonic, Nissan Versa, Hyundai Accent and Kia Rio have all been recently revamped and will be fighting it out in this highly competitive segment.

The Japanese automaker hasn’t officially announced the overhaul of the entry-level model, but we happened on some images that, in all likelihood, give us a good idea of what the future holds for the little Yaris.
If it ever makes it to North America, would you choose the new Yaris or one of its rivals?
