8- Volkswagen Amarok (2009-today)
A mid-size pickup, the Amarok comes in RWD and AWD formats. Under both hoods slumbers the same 2.0-litre turbocharged mill, modified to produce 121 hp and 250 ft-lb of torque. We prefer the twin-turbo configuration, though, which boosts output to 161 hp and 300 ft-lb of torque.
