After the three finalists were announced last month, it's now time to crown the winners of the 2015 North American Car and Truck of the Year awards. They are the Volkswagen Golf and Ford F-150, respectively.
The Golf beat the Ford Mustang and Hyundai Genesis according to a jury of 57 auto journalists from Canada and the U.S. Meanwhile, the more fuel-efficient, aluminum-bodied F-150 edged the Lincoln MKC crossover and Chevrolet Colorado midsize pickup.
Last year, the awards went to the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and Chevrolet Silverado.
