Volkswagen today hosted the Canadian premiere of the 2017 Golf Sportwagon All-Track at the 2016 Montreal Auto Show. This versatile compact with 4MOTION all-wheel drive will go on sale across Canada this summer.
Under the hood is a direct-injected, turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 170 horsepower through a 6-speed automatic transmission. A 6-speed manual gearbox will be available later in the year.
The 2017 Volkswagen Golf Sportwagon All-Track features 18” Canyon alloy wheels, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink compatibility, Climatronic dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, leather sport seats, and a 6.3” touch screen. The technology package adds a Fender audio system, navigation, and autonomous emergency braking.
Also making its Canadian debut in Montreal is the 2016 Volkswagen Beetle Denim Convertible, on sale this spring as a limited-edition model starting at $29,350.
Paying tribute to the Jeans Bug of the 1970s, this unique Beetle boasts a 170-horsepower engine, 17” Heritage wheels, jeans-inspired seat pockets, and a dark blue top with a jean-like texture that can fold away in less than 10 seconds.
