An October 4th court ruling forced Google to pay $2,250 to a Montreal woman who was photographed outside her house with “part of her breast” exposed by one of its Street View cars.
While the woman's face was blurred by Google, her cleavage was not, which apparently led to unflattering comments from co-workers who recognized her house.

Judge Alain Breault said that the woman not only endured humiliation in the workplace, but also lost some dignity and privacy, which are both eminently respectable values.

The initial 2011 lawsuit amounted to $45,000, but Google refused to pay as it claimed that the plaintiff was out of her home, therefore in a public place. Some IT guy simply blurred her house.

Breault ended up sentencing Google to a $2,250 compensation.
