Preparation ahead of 2016 F1 season is going according to plan for Haas F1 Team.
Team principal Gunther Steiner said that the American based outfit will soon move into its European headquarters in Branbury. And design for the car is about to start. Apparently, the team already has around 50 employees, and should be able to announced a lead designer "soon". "We’re just executing the plan and it’s going well," Steiner is quoted as saying by Motorsport.com.
"There’s always a last minute rush and something that might be a problem, but that’s racing. We need to have a good team in place to overcome those hurdles. But there’s no doubt that we’ll be on the track in 2016." Steiner, who will be attending next week's winter test in Jerez, expects his team to be competitive when the racing starts. "It’s difficult to anticipate where you will line up because you don’t know how strong the opposition is, you know," he said "(But) we will do the best we can and wherever we line up, we line up. We will not be an embarrassment. That is what we want. I’m confident about that."
