The first ever
Grand Prix of India will be held at the Jaypee Group Circuit in Greater Noida, 50 km from New Delhi.
The circuit will be roughly 5.5 kilometres (3.1 miles) and has been designed by F1 circuit designer Hermann Tilke.

The maiden Indian Grand Prix is scheduled to take place on October 30, 2011 as the 18th race of the 2011 Formula One season.
Successful Indian businessman Vijay Mallya created the first Indian Formula 1 team -- Force India -- in October 2007 when he purchased the assets of the Spyker F1 team.
