Italian Raffaele Marciello, a member of the prestigious Ferrari Driver Academy, will get his first full-scale Grand Prix outing in Malaysia.
Marciello is also Sauber’s test and reserve driver. He will take part in Friday morning’s opening free practice session for the Malaysian Grand Prix, driving one of the Sauber C34-Ferraris. Marciello, 20, made his test debut with the Scuderia Ferrari at the post-season session in Abu Dhabi last November. This season Marciello will also contest his second season in the GP2 series, racing for Trident.
