Toto Wolff’s wife, Susie Wolff - Williams F1 test driver - will return to action in practice at next week’s Spanish Grand prix at Barcelona’s Circuit de Catalunya.
Last year, Susie Wolff contested the Friday first practice sessions at the Great Britain and German Grands Prix. The former DTM competitor piloted the Williams at Barcelona earlier this year on day 1 of the first of two pre-season tests at the Circuit de Catalunya.
Wolff, née Stoddart, has confirmed she will be behind the wheel of the FW37 in first practice at next week’s Spanish event. "This time next week...Can't wait to drive the #FW37 again. #FP1 #Barcelona #WeAreRacing," she tweeted. Team Williams is yet to confirm who Wolff will replace at Barcelona [between Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas], with the 32-year-old Scot also scheduled to run in practice at the British and Austrian Grands Prix this summer.
