FORD OF CANADA ANNOUNCES PRICING FOR THE ALL-NEW FORD FIVE HUNDRED AND FREESTYLE
The 2005 Ford Five Hundred, Ford's new flagship sedan, is the total package: Commanding, Comfortable, Confident and Clever, offering a full-size interior in a mid-size sedan.
Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price for the well-equipped front-wheel-drive (FWD) Five Hundred SE starts at $29,295 and the SE with all-wheel drive (AWD) begins at $32,045.
The 2005 Ford Freestyle fits every lifestyle and will bridge the gap between traditional cars and SUVs with features like: Command Seating™, available AWD and a versatile interior that can accommodate up to seven passengers in class-leading comfort.
Manufacturers suggested retail price begins at $33,295 for the FWD Freestyle SE. The Freestyle SE with AWD begins at $36,045.

August 10, 2004 -- Ford of Canada, announced today that the centerpieces of its "Year of the Car" product onslaught - the new 2005 Ford Five Hundred and 2005 Ford Freestyle - will offer more room and versatility, better performance, higher fuel economy and lower emissions than key competitors.
"Both Five Hundred and Freestyle offer a totally new approach to providing customers with what they want," said Bill Rowe, Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited, brand manager, Family Lifestyle Vehicles.
The Ford Five Hundred
Ford's new flagship sedan combines the roominess of a full-size car with the commanding features of a Sport Utility Vehicle in a mid-size package. With the Five Hundred's optional AWD, advanced powertrains and leading-edge safety technology, Ford has taken the sedan to the next level.
The Five Hundred will be offered with FWD standard in three series: SE, SEL and Limited. Optional AWD will be available on all three series as a $2,750 upgrade.
The Ford Freestyle
The 2005 Freestyle offers a commanding view of the road, available AWD, room and comfort for up to seven adults, seating that folds flat for cargo, advanced safety features and powertrains for peace-of-mind and performance. Freestyle also comes in three series, SE, SEL and Limited. All Freestyle models come standard with the new Duratec 30 DOHC V6 engine that produces 203 horsepower and a new continuously variable transmission. All-wheel drive is optional on all three series at a price of $2,750 the same as Five Hundred.
