Toronto, Ontario - Lexus has announced that its 2007 ES 350 will have a starting price of $42,900, while its all-new GS 450h luxury hybrid sedan will start at $76,900.

Now in its fifth generation, the ES is the fourth new vehicle introduced by the company in 15 months; it will be available in May. Along with the IS 250 and IS 350, the ES is Lexus' entry-level luxury vehicle and features a 3.5-litre V6 that produces 272 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque, with six-speed automatic transmission.

The all-new GS 450h, also available in May, is the world's first full hybrid with a front engine and rear-wheel drive. It uses a 3.5-litre V6 engine and high torque electric motor that combine to deliver 339 hp, for performance equivalent to a 4.5-litre V8. The GS 450h will accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in less than six seconds, but with compact sedan fuel economy and a Super Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle (SULEV) emissions rating. It will come in one trim level.
