Toronto, Ontario – The all-new 2006 Honda Civic Si Coupe is arriving in dealerships across Canada, with a base price of $25,880. Built exclusively in Canada, the new Si Coupe is the best-handling and best-performing Civic to date.
The Si’s 2.0-litre engine uses Honda’s i-VTEC valve control system to develop 197 horsepower and 139 lb-ft of torque, with drive-by-wire throttle control for smooth response. The Civic Si comes exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission, and has a helical-type limited-slip differential that improves acceleration and cornering performance by ensuring optimum torque level to both front wheels at all times.
