Koenigsegg's limited-edition CCX and CCXR
Koenigsegg finally satisfied those who've been seeing rumors and could-be-real renderings on the Internet of its special edition CCX and CCXR.
While the car will not be officially unveiled until the Geneva auto show in 2008, the company has released some early images for fans to salivate over.
Both versions, which the company says it has made at the request of its existing customers, will feature a 5-liter twin supercharged engine. The 6-gear plus reverse car will be even more geared toward the race track than the highway, if that's possible. The limited-edition version of both models will go zero to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds with a top speed of 250 mph in the biofuel CCXR edition and a top speed of 245 mph in the gas-powered CCX version.
