Lumière verte
The GT-E is an amazing zoom-zoom experience. Having gone from a Ford Escape (SUV), I do not feel like I have downsized! I opted for more bells and whistles, and this car delivers. The instrumentation panel, interior illumination make this car so much fun to drive.

Lumière jaune
Definately a car made for smaller people. I am 5'11 and 240 and while I recognized the smaller capacity, I still ended up purchasing the car as its my intention to shed some weight! The back seat is almost useless for any adult, but still comfortable. The leather is of decent quality and as a friend who has a 2006 Mazda 3 GT noted, this is much better and highly improved version.

Lumière rouge
Gas mileage is not as good as it "should" be for a car of this size. 600km a tank, with a 60L tank is marginally better than my SUV. A car of this size should push 700. It is however a 2.5l engine and has good pick up. Some compromise is necessary.

Évaluation:
It has great pick up, the drive is fun and inviting. Mazda 3 GT-E is not just a car destined for teenagers or single women, its geared for the guys who like the buttons and the options!
Don't forget to ask your dealership about the personalization options. There is numerous features that are available to customize your experience. Such as Smart Turn, where you can tap your turn signal wand and it will flash 3 times. This is a feature that will need to be engaged. Also, with the GT-E, the advance key has the option to auto-lock the doors when you walk away from the vehicle. A demo of the car at a dealership had this feature activated and I need to have this turned on.
Remember, if you are single or a couple, this car is for you. If you are a family, perhaps consider the Mazda 6 for room in the backseat. Otherwise its a very fun car experience! Zoom Zoom!
