At this year’s Montreal Auto Show, there is something for everyone. For new-vehicle shoppers and automotive enthusiasts alike, the selection of product unveilings is impressive. As usual, the show is held at Palais des Congrès, and opens its doors to the public from January 13 to 22.

Sports cars are back! It won’t take long to realize that performance-car nuts will get their money’s worth. The show floor is flooded with the likes of the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, the redesigned 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera, the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth, the 2012 Volkswagen Golf R, the Nissan LEAF NISMO RC, the 2012 Jaguar XKR-S Cabriolet, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG, the 2012 MINI Roadster, the 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo and Genesis Coupe as well as the 2013 Subaru BRZ.

If you’re looking for a new luxury car, Lincoln’s got their 2013 MKS sedan on display and BMW has debuted their 2013 ActiveHybrid 5 and 2012 3 Series sedan. Elsewhere on floor, Audi has introduced a revised 2013 A5 Coupe and Mercedes-Benz showed off the 2013 B-Class in a North American premiere. You’ll also be able to check out Lexus’ new design language on the 2013 GS sedan.

SUV and crossovers also share the spotlight this year, with the 2013 Infiniti JX, the 2013 Mazda CX-5, the 2012 Suzuki Grand Vitara Urban, the new 2012 Honda CR-V as well as the totally redesigned 2013 Acura RDX.

There are small cars, too, with the Canadian intros of the 2013 Chevrolet Spark, Scion’s 2012 Release Series models (tC, xD and xB) and Mitsubishi’s Global Small concept car, an indication of what they’ll be offering us in 2013.

On the upper levels, you’ll stop for a while and take a good long look at the 2012 Ferrari FF as well as the other super-expensive exotics from Aston Martin, Bentley, Lotus and Lamborghini. And just for good measure, a $2.2M Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport sits pretty up in the Performance Zone; the very sweet icing on the cake.

Enjoy the show.
