The new 2017 Nissan LEAF is now on sale at Canadian dealerships with a base MSRP of $33,998, not counting government incentives.
All three trim levels—S, SV ($37,398), and SL ($40,548)—get a 30kWh battery allowing a range of 172 kilometres. It can be quick-charged to 80% in about 30 minutes only. A high-response, 80kW AC synchronous motor that generates 107 horsepower and 187 lb-ft of torque completes the powertrain.
A navigation system with a 7” touchscreen, voice recognition, Bose audio, and a rear-view camera are available on select models.
