New edition is better equipped and more refined

Introduced at Detroit’s North American International Auto Show this past January, the all-new 2018 GMC Terrain is poised to arrive on the Canadian market offering consumers more refinement, versatility and safety features than ever before.

As we previously reported, the lineup for the Terrain includes three new turbo-charged engine set-ups. Consumers can choose from the 1.5L 170-hp or 2.0L 252-hp engine, with a 1.6L turbodiesel version set to be added later this year. All will be wedded to a 9-speed automatic transmission.

Standard equipment includes the Traction Select driving modes system, LED daytime running lights and taillamps, leather-wrapped steering wheel, flat-folding front passenger seat and keyless engine starter.

The GMC Terrain Denali luxury edition will get the 2.0L engine, as well as 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, wireless charging for mobile devices, an 8-inch multimedia display with GPS and a 7-speaker Bose audio system. Added safety features offered standard in the Denali include Safety Alert Seat, Rear Park Assist and Side Blind Zone Alert with Lane Change Alert.
