The next-generation 2018 Jeep Wrangler has been a long time coming and highly anticipated. FCA finally decided to present it for the first time this week at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, just after the Wrangler was voted the "Hottest 4x4 SUV" at the automotive event for the eighth consecutive year.

Unfortunately, the vehicle's technical specifications remain to be revealed. Fiat-Chrysler did provide a peek into the evolution of the popular SUV's design, and promised improved off-road performance combined with reduced fuel consumption. We also learned that the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler will come with more safety systems and open-air options.

According to Jeep, 98% of Wranglers sold are equipped with at least one Mopar add-on product.

The official launch of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler is scheduled for November 29 during the Los Angeles Auto Show. We'll be covering that so stay tuned!
