The all-new eighth-generation 2018 Toyota Camry made big headlines when it received its world premiere at the beginning of this year. Not announced until now, however, were details regarding pricing, features and equipment. We now have all that information for you.
Built on Toyota’s new global architecture, the reinvented Camry promises to deliver sportier road handling as well as a more comfortable, quieter ride. Its roomier and more ergonomic interior offers better visibility than before as well.
Three new engines are available, including a 301-hp 3.5L V6, a 2.5L 4-cylinder generating 203 hp (206 hp in the case of the XSE version) and a next-generation hybrid system. The first two powertrains come with a new Direct Shift 8-speed automatic transmission.
All of the 2018 Camry versions come standard with the Toyota Safety Sense (TSS-P) suite of technologies, which includes the Pre-Collision System with pedestrian detection, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with steering assist and automatic high beams. Some trims also feature Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert safety systems.
