The new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport and 2019 Santa Fe XL will get their official world premiere this coming February, then make a public debut at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show in early March.

The job Hyundai’s engineers did in redesigning the Tucson a couple of years back, and in creating the all-new Kona, leads us to expect big things from the larger sibling of these two models, including the 7-seat version.
Hyundai is being tight-lipped ahead of the premiere, but we do know that the upcoming 2019 Santa Fe will incorporate the Smart Stream engine technology as well as a full roster of safety and drive assist systems, grouped under the Smart Sense banner. Notable among these systems are the clever new function that detects the presence of rear passengers and alerts the driver when they are exiting the vehicle to prevent children being accidentally left behind, and rear cross-traffic alert, now improved through the addition of automatic braking.
