We just published our detailed first drive review of the revised fifth-generation new 2019 Toyota RAV4, and now we have confirmed pricing for Canada for each of the trims that will be sold here. Here are the starting prices:
LE FWD - $27,990
LE AWD - $30,690
XLE FWD - $31,590
XLE AWD - $33,690
XLE Premium AWD - $36,390
Trail AWD - $38,690
Limited AWD - $40,690
The new features and elements of the 2019 RAV4 include a new design centered around a stiffer chassis, a new 2.5L engine, and the inclusion as standard equipment of the second-generation Toyota Safety Sense package.
A Trail trim is designed to appeal those outdoors-loving owners who want to take their vehicle off the city streets and even off the road (i.e., those who traditionally go for Subarus).
And, of course, there’s the hybrid RAV4.
The 2019 Toyota RAV4 will be available to Canadian consumers as of December 2018. These seven models will, as mentioned, be supplemented by two additional hybrid models, but pricing for those two editions will only be announced early in 2019, and they won’t hit the market until late March 2019.
