Toyota Highlander
The redesigned new 2020 Highlander is, the folks at Wards point out, the only model to make the top 10 list in both the Best Interior and Best UX categories this year.
The model perhaps benefits from the massive jump in quality and quantity of features included this year in comparison with the outgoing edition, but even taken on their own, the upgrades add up to a very beguiling experience for occupants of the Highlander.
As often is the case, things start with the big centre screen, which is highly customizable and is large enough to allow that (12.3-inch in the top trims). Resolution was found to be strong and use easy. Toyota also now includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, an overdue plus.
Wards mentions the birds-eye camera view (in the Platinum version), 10-inch head-up display, fast phone pairing and Alexa compatibility as other factors working in the 2020 Highlander’s favour.
