11. 1988-1998 Chevrolet C/K 1500
In 1988, the fourth generation of the C/K models (the first had debuted in 1960) was introduced. The product continued to evolve, of course. It would be sold in this form until 1998, at which time GM decided to give it a major transformation. It got a new name to go along with the changes: Silverado.
