Best Luxury Car: 2022 Lexus ES
This is the third year on the market for the current generation of the Lexus ES sedan, and it’s also its third win in this category, as it happens (the previous generation of the ES also won its last year on the market, so that’s a four-year streak).
KBB goes so far as to say this model sets the standard for a modern luxury car. It credits a combination of strong qualities some of which are inevitably weak points in competing models. There’s just very little wrong with this Lexus, in other words.

- Impeccable driving experience
- Many standard drive-assist systems
- Rock-solid reputation for reliability
- For what it offers, the price point is great
- There’s even a hybrid
