2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder

By ,

The convertible version of the hot Eclipse is here. It is as simple as removing the top from the coupe and replacing it by a power-folding soft top that goes down in 19 seconds under a hard tonneau cover. The seating configuration remains 2+2 and trim levels carry on unchanged. That means that the GS maintains the 162 hp 2.4L I-4 and that the GT holds on the fabulous mega-powerful 263 hp 3.8L V6. Transmission choices are 5-speed manual and 4-speed auto for the GS and 6-speed manual and 5-speed auto in the GT.The base model will be available for under US$26,000.
