2008 Ford Focus at the 2007 Toronto Auto Show (VIDEO)

Ford presented its redesigned 2 and 4-door Focus to the media in Detroit just last month. Incorporating Ford's edgy styling cues, the Focus gets new sheetmetal with sharp creases and a chrome grille. The cockpit is also redesigned, with a modern-looking, silver-accented dashboard. Among other changes, the suspension setup has been revised for improved driving dynamics, the weight of the car has been lowered by about 27 kilograms (60 pounds). Improvements in noise, vibration and harshness management have also been made. Sadly, the practical hatchback models will be discontinued after the 2007 model year, as Ford says that 80 percent of the compact market is composed of four-door sedans and two-door coupes.
