The 2009 calendar year is over, and about 60 cars have come and gone past my fingertips and camera lens along with it. This year, I reported on some exciting new-age hybrid models, some affordable family-oriented machines, some hot new convertibles, and plenty more.
Of course, I covered the news-making world of high-performance cars, too—and a few of the coolest have become lodged in my memory. As such, when the boss asked me to interrupt my egg-nog-guzzling holiday to create a ‘Year In Review’ segment of my choice, selecting the topic was a cinch.
