The new 2011 Elantra sedan is equipped with a 148-horsepower, 1.8-litre engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic.

This fifth generation stands out with generous equipment levels, including some luxurious amenities that used to be exclusive to high-end models, including a navigation system with a back-up camera as well as heated front and rear seats.

The 2011 Hyundai Elantra will hit the Canadian market early next year. Production takes place in Montgomery, Alabama.
