2010 Paris Motor Show: Bring on the Suzuki Swift!

Suzuki unveiled the successor to its best-selling model in Paris.

The evolved Swift, which was recently awarded a 5-Star Safety rating in Europe, gains new 1.2 litre gasoline and an improved 1.3 litre diesel engines, both of which have lower fuel consumption .

The successor to the best-selling model of the marque has a sportier, more elegant design and a new petrol engine to deliver greater driving pleasure.

A major feature is the new Engine Auto Stop Start System that highlights the company's focus on smart technology and efficien , elegant environmental responsibility.

Recently awarded a maximum, five-star rating in the 2010 Euro NCAP safety performance test programme, the new Swift will be on sale throughout Europe this autumn.
