Bentley will be presenting the second generation of the Continental GTC next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but the automaker decided to leak a few details and images of the luxury drop-top, which promises more muscular looks, more refined operation and more interior space.

A twin-turbo W12 and a new, quicker transmission are in charge of deploying the 567 ponies, 15 more than the outgoing model. Torque has also been boosted to 516 lb-ft, allowing the car to bound from 0-100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and reach to speeds of 314 km/h.

Larger front and rear tracks, sharper steering, a redesigned suspension and an all-wheel drive that distributes power on a 40-60 front-rear bias instead of 50-50 are among the new features that improve handling and help manage all that grunt.

The Continental GTC’s cabin will be more spacious, with extra legroom in back, and feature some new gadgetry such as a touch screen infotainment system and neck-warming headrests.

As always, there’ll be a wide range of material and colour combinations available on the GTC, which will start at 221,800 USD.
