If you scour the internet, flipping through forums and blogs, looking for information on the 2012 1-Series, you'll more than likely come upon negative comments concerning its new looks.
We were of the same opinion until we found what inspired BMW's Chief designer Adrian van Hooydonk: a Pug! You can clearly see the ripples on each side of the creatures' snout, starting from just over the nose. And how about those ears (mirrors), eyes (headlights) and that chin (chin)?
Look at that mug, then look back at the 1-Series. How can you possibly not like what BMW has created after doing that comparo?
