Up front, designers rounded out the previously boxy edges of the seven-passenger crossover and got rid of the blue oval logo. At the other end, dual exhaust tips will now come standard.

Inside, the 2013 Ford Flex features new seat trim, while the latest generation of MyFord Touch with SYNC will also be available.

Under the hood, buyers will once again have a choice of two engines, both mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

The 3.5L EcoBoost V6 (355 hp, 350 lb-ft) will be back on higher-end models, while the 3.5L Ti-VCT V6 (285 hp, 255 lb-ft) will power the others. The latter gets an extra 20 ponies and burns slightly less fuel than its predecessor.
