Following the lead of the Golf, Jetta , Passat , and Touareg, the 2013 Volkswagen Beetle is set to add a TDI Clean Diesel engine to its lineup.
Expect the diesel-powered Beetle to deliver excellent acceleration while burning as little as 4.8L/100km. The TDI will be available with a 6-speed manual gearbox or 6-speed DSG.
The 2013 Volkswagen Beetle TDI Clean Diesel will start at $24,175 in Comfortline trim, and $26,625 in Highline trim. The top-of-the-line Sportline model will stick to gasoline engines.
